Here we go:
When:
Saturday, December 8th, 9:30am
Where:
We will meet at the McDonald's at 8577 W. Grand Ave.
East Valley people who want to drive up to Peoria together can meet at Fry's Electronics (NE corner of Baseline and I-10) at 8:45am.
The Event:
Nice drive up US60 to Wickenburg, then AZ-89a to Yarnell Hill and on to Prescott for lunch. This is a beautiful drive, complete with some nice twisties through the mountains, and is one of the favorites of local car clubs. If all goes to plan, we should be home by 3pm.
Please bring your TalkAbout radio, if you have one.
Directions to the meeting place:
I-10 W from downtown Phoenix to Loop 101 North
Exit to Grand Ave.
Turn right (southeast) on Grand Ave. and drive about 1 mile to the McDonald's on south side of street
We should have great topdown weather (unlike our June run!). I will make reservations at a good bar & grill for lunch, so please email or post if you are planning to make the drive.

Sorry that I didn't get that alternate route to you for this trip. I looked all over the place and I couldn't find them written down anywhere. Oh well... I'll keep my eyes open for them.
By the way, is anybody going back to Thunderbird this weekend? Didn't Neil say there was another event on the East Track?
I was thinking about heading down there again to check it out.

Uh oh pretty soon it's gonna be Team Chandler making the outta state runs and not Team Arizona. Guess the rest of us will have to be Team AZ. Kinda like the AZ Diamondbacks vs the Phoenix Suns. See you next Saturday.
Anybody going to tha ASRA event at Firebird this weekend? I looked at their web site and get the feeling that their events may be a little more personal, (for lack of a better term) than the NASA events.

Hey guys, how's everyone doing? I am down in Phoenix for the week on business, unfortunately do not have the S with me. Got an Altima rental....
If any of you guys would like to get together for dinner or cold ones, let me know. I am here until Saturday morn. Staying at the Wyndham up on Union Hills drive just off of the 17. Lets toss some down.
