Discount Tire
So yesterday I found a screw in my driver side rear tire, deflating rather fast. I take the car over to the discount tire at the 101 and frank lolyd wright. Show the guy the screw clearly in the middle of the tread. He tells me it'll be about 45 minutes, and they'll be able to repair it. I return 45 minutes later to find my car still sitting outside, with the tire 100% deflated. I go inside to ask about it, "we got busy, and are running behind." I go back outside put my spare tire on, because I really don't want them trying to move the car while the tire is flat. Jen comes to pick me up, we go eat lunch and return another hour later. The car is finished so I go inside to collect my keys, and pay for the repair. The ****ING MORON behind the counter tells me it couldn't be repaired, and that I needed to pay for the new tire they put on.........YOU NEVER CALLED ME, I'M NOT PAYING FOR SHIT! To make a long story short, after 2 calls to there corporate officer, I got a free tire.
Good thing for them they took care of you. Their corporate office was only a few miles away so you could of went "Old Lady" on them.

Discount has been good to me in the past. They gave me a large discount (over half off) on two rear SO2s after selling me some Cooper tires they said would last 15,000 miles. Yep, the Coopers were worn past the wear bars at 2,800 miles under normal driving conditions.
However, on one of those new tires I got a nail near the sidewall on the tread. Since I didn't buy their expensive road hazard insurance they wouldn't give me a discount on a new tire. The Discount Tire guy looked at the tire for a couple of minutes and then said it was not repairable. Therefore, I bought 2006 wheels and tires.
How did you find a Discount that stocked SO2s? My local Discount told me I would have to wait ~7 days to receive another tire. They also wanted something around $130 for it. (Assuming that is what they put on your car.)

that wasnt repairable? Ive drivin on my so3s around a few miles with it pretty much flat. Aparently it has a rim saver or something like that that prevents the wheel from chewing up the side walls.
Got it patched up and im up and running
2nd hole in the same tire

If you want to see "not repairable", take a look at this little mishap of mine...
Of course it happened in the middle of nowhere. The replacement cost me my soul and my first-born...
