F24 stroker build

Well it has progressed partially out of the planning stages. the tentative build is listed below ill update pictures as the build progresses and we will see how this motor holds together. ill be using an AEM ems tuned on e85 by Tony at UMS.

AEBS sleeved f20c block
k24a2 crankshaft
k24 main/rod bearing
Inline pro f24 stroker rods
JE 87mm pistons (compression to be determined still)

assuming funds permit the valvetrain will be freshened also with new valves and dual springs / titanium retainers.

Im hoping to have the build completed by the end of summer.

What fuel system setup are you going to run for the e85?

Will this meet your power goals?

How much boost does a 2.4 handle?

You're going na right?

SubeSTile 04-13-2011 03:50 PM

yeah this will be an NA build for now... who knows what the next few years hold though

Boofster 04-13-2011 05:08 PM

That's what I'm saying. Will you be happy with that much work and, I'm guessing like 275 at the wheels?

SubeSTile 04-13-2011 05:12 PM

its no more work than rebuilding it to stock at this point and has more potential than stock. had i not spun a bearing i would not do anything to it, the car was alot of fun to drive just stock.

Keep us posted. Are there any examples out there that have run this setup?
