Glove box lid

Glove box lid
I was trying to see if the glove box lid can be removed without taking out the whole glove box ?
Anyone try this or know if it can be done. I was trying to pull on the lid but didn't want to break anything.
Thanks,

The sliding console lid cannot be taken out without removing the entire deck.
Trust me, I've taken that apart to fix the pull-back spring. It is quite easy and if you know how to take off door panels to do speakers, then you can pull up the console. Just a few snaps and that's it.
(I assume your "glove box" is the transmission shaft console.)

I just re-attached the spring to the sliding door. Unfortunately, the damned spring re-unattached in a couple months again. It looks like I'll have to get Tim Allen on it and make "improvements".
