Default High Rev NA motor info

Does anyone have any? trying to figure out what would be necessary and feasible for a track setup. cant seem to find much in the NA forums. looking to hit 10.5+ rpm and still make power up top. high comp pistons and rods and such, mainly worried about oiling at the higher revs,

Why do you want to rev that high?

From everything that I have read you can spin the motor as high as you want, but you're going to break it eventually. One of the sponsors on here spins his 2.2 to 9k on the track, and I remember him commenting somewhere about the motor eventually giving out due to that.

It seems to me that if you're going for a track set up reliability would be a primary concern. Instead of spending the money to make the motor rev higher why not just spend that cash on making more power.

You'll spend so much $$$ chasing NA power, Honda already squeezed it all out. Just go FI!

Yeah, I also recommend a supercharger.
It's hard to justify the ROI of N/A.

I'll be out at AMP in March. You're welcome to come for a ride

When you peaking at just over 8, I can't see the legitimate need to run any higher.

thats a stock motor, i obviously would not be leaving it a stock motor, i know there are very few people that build these NA. it can be done, its just a matter of how much money i want to put into it and if its actually worth the time. short answer is probably no, but that isnt going to stop me from trying to figure out if it can be done and how much it would cost to theoretically make a decent hp motor
