rear shocks won't come out
So I installed the front coilovers with little to no hassle, but the rears shocks are impossible to get out. It seems I must be doing something wrong cause all the DIY guides show/say the shocks just slide right out.
In detail, I have unbolted the bolt that connects the bottom of the shock to the lower arm, then I unbolted the two bolts located in the trunk that connect the top of the shock to the body of the car. Every where else I have seen that the shock just slides right out. The bottom of the shock doesn't clear the lower A arm, which is preventing the shock from coming out.
Do I have to unbolt the upper A arm? Is this common, or am I just a moron?
Please help!
thanks

^^yep yep. Or take you scissor jack and something soft and jack from the control arm to the top of the wheel well. I used a big pack of shop towels. Worked fine

I rested up last night and was able to get them out this morning. Although I didn't have any fat chicks just laying around, I was able to get my brother to put enough weight in order for me to slide the shocks out.
Thanks everyone for the rapid response!

Putting it back in you will need the same kind of help lining the holes up. With someone helping it's pretty easy though.
