oh, and once we decide on a time/date, I'll invite all the BR locals I know of. I still have a small list from my failed-s2k/nsx club.

I am in, but Macaroni Grill? We surely can find a place better than than. If you want Italian, Ruffinos is better and has seafood. It is right off Highland Road or we can go to Vincents of New Orleans.

thursday night would be best for me. might be out of town that weekend. although my abscence is not a reason to not meet. macaroni grill just happens to be one of the only places I know in BR. usually I just drive through.

Well we need a day that as many people as possible can meet. I'm game for any day.

I agree with Phil about Ruffinos. It's actually easier to get to than macarroni Grill. You just exit Hightland/Perkins Road off of I-10, which is where Blue Bayou water park is, and go right at the light, Highland Road. Ruffino's is about a half mile, maybe less on the left side. The Highland exit is several miles before the College Drive exit for Macarroni Grill.

genghiskwong, have you pm'ed the NOLA s2k dudes about this? I'm ready to make fliers when we decide on a date.

Hey guys, just to let you know, we are going to be racing in New Orleans on Feb 16th (Sunday) at Belle Chase. I am not going to put the race rubber on, but I will be out there. Actually, I am designing the course for this event. If you guys would, email me your email address and I will get you on the delta email list.

Just let me know the date on the meet, I will be there.

FYI, if you ever have a rear wheel bearing go out, it is a PITA to get to.

Since my girlfriend lives in Baton Rouge, and I have no classes on Friday, then we'll probably be able to make it on any Thursday or Friday.

I read that someone mentioned KOTO's. That is her favorite restaurant. If the place has to change, then keep that in mind.

Kotos or Ruffinos?

I would prefer italian since I tend to get drunk at japanese restaurants.

also. lets agree on a date. would again prefer thur or fri.

Eddie, I promise we will do a daylight event soon. just let it warm up enough so the cold will not be an excuse for a dirty s2000

BTW I split this thread from the march 9th thread to avoid confusion and increase the likelyhood that this thread would still be read
