I am not jail broken yet and I just downloaded the new 4.0 software so im guessing it will be awhile before they come out with it. Can you overclock it w/o being jail broken? I'll call you tomorrow on it!

Do you have a 3G? I can jailbreak the 3G and some 3Gs. You do have to be jailbroken because I have to ssh into the phone and change some code on a file. No biggie let me know I think we can do it sir.

bobby can you jail break any software on the 3gs now? i know i read that redsnow could do it but it told me to find some file and i was like what you talkin about wilis

Just to explain jailbreaking is just gaining read AND write access to the phone allowing you to install ipa (apps) that are not passed through apple. Also allowing you to have root access lets you change the way the phone acts and really opens it up to some bad ass stuff. In essence you have a full open O.S.
