So DON'T buy this 2003 AP1 for sale from Wells Auto Group
 

I found my old AP1 silver with blue cloth top on Autotrader for sale ... sold it 5 years ago to an individual.
Got the itch to check it out.
They did some cosmetic upkeep (repainted front bumper, replaced damaged wheel well) and more modern head unit.
Cloth soft top still in good condition. Lowered driver's seat rail still there with keyed security rail locks I put on, but key missing.
BUT when the sales dude started it up, I noticed puffs of blue smoke coming out the tailpipe.
Went for unsupervised test drive ... it felt "slower."
Called Huggins Honda (who did the last service on the Carfax before the dealer got their hands on it) ... ran the VIN. Here's what the service record said:

Engine knocking, found engine damage, recommend replacing engine, customer declined.

Methinks the new owner did a "money shift" ... 5th to 2nd instead of 3rd ... and exceeded redline.
Sad, sad panda. :(
