What to choose for 2nd car
Hi all, i haven't been posting for a while, well guess what i was too busy rediscovering the joys of driving with the S2000. 1000km mark reached last week !
Anyway i still have the same need for a 2nd car that would do what the S can't (carry 4 sometimes, drive in rain, haul stuff, be somewhat practical), be compact (5 doors) and yet be fun to drive (powerful engine, manual gearbox, sports suspension). It should absolutely be Right Hand Drive.
I had previously set a tight budget constraint (2M

How about the Impreza WRX. With the new shape just out in Japan you should be able to pick up one of the pervious models cheap and spend the extra on tuning if you want.
More reliable than the golf, a better drive, cheaper parts, sounds better, fater and better handling. 5 stars in the Euroncap and US crash tests.
Their only weekness is that they are so easy to drive at licence loosing speeds and continually beg to be driven hard.
The Std WRX is capable of 350BHP without any major work or internal's upgraded and the STi ever more as they use forged pistons nad rods ect. STi's also have variable valve timing.
Once you've owned a 4WD performace car you will never go back to a 2WD one unless its a second car.
