Thanks again DavidM, btw do you use anything like a CG-lock for your seatbelt when you track your car?

What's a CG lock?
If you mean a way to lock your seatbelt in tight so there's no give then there's a simple way of twisting the seat belt before locking it in. Worked for me. It's a little ghetto though and you need to fiddle around with it if it's uncomfortable.

Like Blackie mentioned - what is CG-lock? That also probably answers your question ... I use the seatbelts as they came from the factory.

David are you at Sandown on 28th October? I'm there in the 355. Have the new 430 Scuderia on order for delivery next June.

Hi Tony, was not planning on it as I had a very bad experience with Maserati club last time there (ie. they accepted ~120 cars, so I had almost no track time ... did not get onto the track 'till about 11:30am). Hope it'll be a better day for you.

Though, if visitors are welcome then I'll come and have a look and see how you're going.

Bastard ;-) Also how did you manage to have such an early delivery date? I would have thought that you'd be waiting for another 2+ years.

Will have to check it out once it arrives. Oh, and what color?

ps. How's the 355CH ... have you set times at all the local track with it now? If so, where're you're at?

I'm no 5 in Vic for the 430 scud. I just got back from Maranello to see the car in action on Ferraris test track. Kimi and Massa raced flat out for ten laps, then we crawled all over the cars. put my money down a few months ago and had not sited the car then but knew it was comming. 0-60 in less than 3.6 secs
should be a bit of fun on the track with 520 hp at 1250kilos

it's a device i came across that just locks the lower belt in place, it's supposed to stop you moving around a bit...but I figured that if you just slide the seat all the way back, pull the belt tight, then slide the seat forward you pretty much get pinned there!

Hey DavidM,

Can you post up a link to the Alfa club supp regs for P.I. on the 16th of December please?

Have you been to one of their track days? If so, was it run well etc?

Yes, have been a fair few events with them. Arguably the best run club/track days at the moment ... can't recommend them highly enough. I was at PI with them in September and was very happy with the day.

Here you go:

- AROCA PI Entry form 16/12/07
- AROCA PI Sup Regs 16/12/07

ps. Be carefull at PI as it is a magnificent track, but you don't want to go off at the speeds you're doing there.
