30k service prices
Having just purchased a '99 s2k with 34,000kms, was wondering if you guys can tell me what I should expect to pay for a 30k service?
Talbot Motors in Abbotsford seems to be the closest Honda dealer and this is the first Honda I have owned. The guy there quoted $220 which seems quite reasonable?

I bought my S2000 at Talbots and have all my service done there Optical. Nick is a good service manager and they have a young mechanic called Truong who is very capable and knowledgeable.
Their prices are also better than anywhere else in Melbourne even with the HSCC discount which you can use at either Robert Lanes or Eastern Honda.
Hmm, time flys - my S2k is coming up for its 3rd birthday in less than 4 weeks.

Out of curiousity, what did people pay for a 20k service?
My 2001 S2k was serviced last week for $296 (John Blair) which I thought was a bit rich, but no-one advised me of the cost upfront!

better to just service the car your self, the only service i would go to the dealership for is the 60k mile service with the timing belt being replaced. the 30k mile service doesnt consist of too much.

... err, we're talking 30k kilometres here sport. How about doing a bit of research on local conditions before you post? I'm surprised you didn't comment on the dollars and cents situation again.
