Default Aftermarket roll bars

Hi All,

The track bug has hooked in over the past year and I was wondering where people are purchasing roll bars within Aus? All my searching online has lead me no where but custom race fab shops and none offer off the shelf items like the Civics or Silvia's have locally.

Are people shipping them in from the US from Hard Dog or RSG?

Cheers

There is a cage shop in Melb/Sydney (can't remember exactly) who will soon begin to fab one up for customers in Australia. A few of the Sydney S2000 trackgoers have mentioned this to me recently. So I guess you could wait to see how that turns out!

Would be good to find who the fab shop is.

I emailed RSG anyway and they replied saying they'd do a group buy if there was interest for 6 or more.
Would be a standard RSG bar with the cross bar swapped to suit RHD, will come with the bulkhead replacement bar for OEM seat belts also.

I'm located in Perth, any WA guys interested?

Fabriactions in Melb is developing one i believe. Theyve already built one for a guy down there so maybe its just a few small things left and they might release it to the public.

As for sydney guys that shak mentioned. AGI will be developing one soon with a few guys in sydney interested. Basically one of our cars has to go in so they can make it as they have nothing on file for s2000s.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into the Vic mob and give them a buzz to see how far away they are with theirs. The guy getting one made, is he a member on here?

AGI have a good rep as some of the drift guys here run their cages, any idea how far away theirs will be by chance?

Thanks

I don't think he is. We're just waiting on AGI to contact us at the moment to tell us they have time to make the rollbar.
We talked to them at WTAC last year and were told feb, that got pushed back to march and it's now April. We spoken to them since and they just keep saying they're really busy at the moment. They will need the car for 2 weeks to gather measurements and make the rollbar etc
Just playing the waiting game

Let's hope sooner rather than later. Any of the Sydney guys rolling with an OEM HT by any chance, would be good if the measurements took the HT into account.

Keep me in the loop if you could, as I'd be happy to be part of a group buy if it helps reduce the cost for all
