Alternatives to Orange indicator bulbs.
I have now replaced my orange side indicators (behind front wheels) with clear glass (plastic!). They are a big improvement and I am very pleased with the much cleaner look - thanks Alister for your advice on where to buy them.
However, when you look at the indicators you can still see the orange globe and, as I am now getting a little fussy, I would like to replace the orange globes in both the front and side indicators with a neutral colour that will still glow orange when lit.
I have heard about blue bulbs but I don't know if they will glow blue or orange when lit - does anyone have an answer to this? Does anyone know where I can buy blue globes and at what price - are they legal?
I also heard that you can lightly spray your orange globes with silver paint and they will still glow orange when lit - has anyone tried this?
Any and all ideas welcome.
BTW, net performance is terrible at present - is it just me or is it this submarine cable problem off the coast of China that is crippling everyone's response time?

Can't help you with the indicators, but you're not the only one with horrible connection at the moment. Getting onto (and around) S2000online takes me a very long time ... horribly slow :-(

Are you sure you have orange bulbs?
When I replaced my indicators, I had to purchase orange bulbs as otherwise they would blink white (illegal and a security hazard).

I have clears with the orange bulbs and like the look.
I've considered tinting the inside of the lenses so that the colour is closer to the colour (Silverstone) of my car, and the bulbs are less visible.

Infact, if we could arrange a bulk shipment of the smoked ones (RSA?) I'd be in.
