Got to see AP1, Toda_AU's awesome white S2000, yesterday.

Turns out we're neighbours and I'd been buying my E-manage bits from his mate at Advan. They dropped over my ignition harness and we talked cars for a while.

That S is amazing. Nicely stripped, no stereo or air bags, full Mugen roll cage and CF roof, Amuse bonnet (drool), big AP Racing calipers on slotted rotors inside some nice rims.

All up a very tidy and purpose built car.

IF you want to see the car it will be at the Auto Salon at Homebush this weekend. I believe it is also participating in the dyno shootout.

I went to go to the show on Saturday but didn't go in. There were queues about a mile long. I heard at least three conversations that ended in "an' I neerly smicked him in da hed!". That was enough to convinced me I was in the wrong demographic.

We did see something of interest on the way back:

Bling thing

Not the best quality but if aren't familiar with them look here.

They are deep dish wheels with a free spinning inserts. So when the car stops the wheels seem to keep going. Extremely tacky.

That said, the new Rolls Royce has centre caps that are free spinning and keep the RR logo upright when stopped.
