Default AP1 and AP2 brakes difference?

Hi all

I always thought that AP1 and AP2 braking syetem was indentical except for the different pads used in the models.

I was looking for some new front rotors and noticed the following:

Honda S2000 99-03 300 x 25mm

Honda S2000 03-05 282 x 23mm

If anyone can shed some light would be great as I have an AP1 but gonna be using rebuilt AP2 calipers on the front. Was wondering if the different size rotors will affect me using AP2 calipers. I dont think so but just wanted some confirmation.

Where did you get the specs from? If its ebay, then they are all wrong.

The only difference in the braking system between the years is the brake pad compound, rotors and calipers are the same.

so I should still run AP1 rotors with the AP2 calipers on my AP1??

Just a bump for this thread.

I believe across all S2000, the rotor size remains the same. The reason why I ask this is I want the WASP Composites air brake duct kit. I have an AP1 but have AP2 bumper..

Probably best to ask WASP, but I'm pretty sure the only difference is the bumper ducts.

My suggestion, ask them what the differences are. If there are other differences I reckon they'll do a custom kit for you.
