Default AP1 / AP2 Tail light conversion

hey guys,

Bout to buy my S this forthcoming week [or maybe two..] and I just wanted to know if I can simply replace the AP1 taillights with the AP2 tailights? Is it just a simple swap, or is it like the headlights where come changes are required?

ANd, if it requires changes, has anybody here done the conversion, and can list what is needed / required.

Thanks for your help.

any reason why u want to change the tail lights?? r u getting them cheap, apparently they r LED's rather than normal bulbs, so it gives it that fancy maserati/ bmw m3 look

i think u may need to change the rear bumper as oppose to doing the headlights where it is jus a matter of swapping out the lights.

I thought about doing this conversion shortly after i bought my S but after i read up about it, its a real pain as you have to modify the body.
If you have deep pockets and dont mind spending & getting a professional to do the job then it would be a good mod cosmetically.
To be honest i think the AP2 lights look HOT!!
Just not worth the $$ to modify the rear just to fit them.

$1000 isnt enough for that. everyone knows that asian chicks r one of the most high maintenance, especially korean chicks, plus they r headcases

aahahahahaha -
chiqs = evil

Tail light conversion will cost more than $1000 if you're getting the ap2 tail light from honda

it is a similar deal with the head light too.
i'm planning to do a conversion by july, if i have enough spare cash after the other parts im getting, and if i still have extra cash left, i'll do a head light conversion too. i'll post pics

The $1000 is just for the fitting / conversion , thats not including the actual lights .
