I almost forgot about TAAXED. I've lost count at the amount of GT3 RS's. Bumped into him at a few tracks days here and there. He's just recently relocated to Sydney.

Modded to Type S standard.

Sold completely AP2 stock 2/18
Howdy chaps and chapett,
Yes, xoz has onsold his SSM MY06, went to an enthusiast in his older years, in southern suburb in Brisbane.
Said he’d leave under the house and take it out every 6 weeks to the track. I’ve yet to hear that he’s been spotted out though.

Will I be back with a round 3?
”I have no idea,....... stay tuned”

Hi all, reviving the thread.

As mentioned, I was active on this forum for most of my teenage years in high school. Now at the age of 31, I finally bought my S2000. It's a 2006 Grand Prix White AP2. Black interior. It's been a Victorian car for it's lifetime, and just clicked over 100,000km. I won't be clicking up the km's, but am eager to do a drive once Victoria has come out of it's Stage 4 restrictions.

So many happy memories here. I think about you all when I go tinker with the car in the garage. Currently nursing a dead battery and an alarm that won't stop.

I hope you are all well. I hope to bump into you on the road sometime.

Hello Melissa and fabulous to hear you bought the car you want...I haven't been on the S2k forum for quite some time and just got your message sent to me...I'm sure I remember you joining into conversations we had in the group all those years ago...I bought my '99 S2000 in 2002 and only just sold it to a friend a couple of months ago for $26 thousand....only had 140 thousand k's on it and had 18 wonderful years getting it out and about for country drives...thats all it did really...and fond memories of organised drives all those years with like minded people from this forum...great times but decided it was time for someone else to enjoy....wishing you grand and fun times in your new ride....if you do a search using my name STANLEY on here you will see my car...cheers and best wishes..and safe driving...John

Go ahead.. click up the k's. Cars are for driving and enjoying Don't think I have ever purchased a car and even considered resale or keeping low k's, but thats just me.

Mines up to like 185K, but we (Me and Dad) have owned it since new in 2000.

Hey all, had to get new tyres for the 16" AP1 wheels today, and thought to pop in and say hi!

...so hard to find performance tyres in the right size for the 16" AP1 wheels nowadays.

My AP1 from 2001 came with Bridgestone S02Ws on its 16 inch wheels. I have always replaced them with whatever the Bridgestone retailer recommended. When they stopped supplying S02Ws they recommended RE001s. Later it was RE002s and now it is RE003s.
I'm a very happy with them.

Over the 18 years and 270000kms I have replaced the fronts 7 times and the rears 12 times.
