That is exactly what I want to do to my interior totally gut it, id like to paint it to have a clean look though.

Wonder if that roll cage would be cams approved?

I will be trying to get cams approval, so I'll let you know. Having looked at other MX-5 and S2K bars that have approval, I think it shouldn't be a problem.

Any plans to take out the minimal sound deadening?
After the PITA job of removing the tar from the boot, only to find it weighed 900g - I would say no. It's just not worth it.

dunno how u only got 900gm out but, when i took out the sound deadening tar lining the boot and the piece under the spare wheel

it weighed 2.5kg

then i took out the deadening from the l passenger footwell and on the left side of the transmission tunnel.. what a headfk that was.. another 3.5kg gone

havent got round to doin the drivers side got it was such a pita.

quick q . how did u mount the sparco seat to the car ? custom rails/brackets ? any pics of that

well done on your win. i'll post up mine when i have time

^^^ hmmm.... if yours weighed that much, maybe I'll take another look. Did you use dry ice or a heat gun?

The drivers seat is mounted using a MemoryFab seat rail and a hammer

The word from CAMS on the roll bar is that they won't approve it unless I make modifications....

Oh well, it's not really a problem for me atm.

i used dry ice.what reason did cams give for rejecting the hard dog?
