Default E-manage on it's way

I won an auction for an E-manage last night on ebay. Got the E-manage and Ignition harness for $470 shipped.

I still need the support tool and cable and pressure sensor. Not sure if I need the Injector harness as I believe if you've got one harness and a 4 cylinder engine you have enough leads for both (or something like that).

Can't wait to start. Any body want a VAFC mounted in a radio door. That doesn't include the P&P harness. I need that for the E-manage.

Hey Aus, is that AUD or USD?
What injector are you using?
How much boost?

The local shop around here has got one + fitted + tuning for around $1400.

That's AUD.

The eventual plan is to use 440cc (or larger) injectors with a smaller pulley (came with kit) boosting around 9psi with aftercooler.

But I'll install and tune in stock config for now. I'm not made of money.

I picked up a laptop today. It an NEC Versa 6050 with 150Mhz MMX processor and a screaming 48Mb of RAM.

Ok, so it's no screamer but it'll do the trick and cost me $50. That includes CD and floppy drive. I've installed the OBD-2 and E-manage software and it runs without a hitch.

If I can upgrade the RAM (to a max of 80Mb) and install wireless networking I will be thrilled.

And if I happen to drop it in my garage I won't be too pissed off.

Got the E-manage today.

Infact it feels like Christmas. A book I have been waiting for for about a year now also showed up. Any other Neal Stephenson fans out there?

Can't work out what to do first: read the book, play with the E-manage, or do some work to pay for all this? I have a feeling it will be one or two?
