Emission Control System crashed!
Last week I took my car in for it's 100,000km service (even though I have only done 99,500) because I was heading up Thunderbolts over the weekend.
On Friday (two days after the service) the ECS light went on and stayed on. The engine started to idle roughly bouncing between 100 and 1,000 rpm and cutting out in traffic.
The manual clearly states that any high speed driving could cause engine damage which would void the warranty, so I left it at home and took the Prelude instead.
On Monday Scotts had a look at the car and rebooted the ECS which cured the problem. Anyone would think it was developed by Mickeysoft!!

I recently invested in an OBDII cable and software for exactly these sort of problems. Shame about missing out on Thunderbolts when pulling fuse 25 would have done the trick.

Ah, you have the power. I did a search and saw that BlackS2K had a similar problem.
BTW, we did Thunderbolts in the Prelude, warped discs 'n' all. First time it's ever seen 180! Chucky's Lotus didn't make it, he took a spin on Bucketts Way and re-arranged the wheel configuration. I have the photos....
