Vuey - you may have to check the track requirements for the car. Eg if a fire extinguisher, battery box, bonnet strap is required or anything else you may not get on a hire car.
Also most insurance policies do not cover timed track events - check with the hire car company/insurance company.

i aint walking in there and saying "hi i would like to hire one of your cars for a track day"
im willing to go as far as slapping my stockies onto the hire car for the day . As for the requirements , i can just bring the fire extinguisher , i can just bring along the one i got at work ! ehehehe
as for the other dickhead stuff , i'll just roll someone for it on the day , Beaver , and my cuz will help me do that
im not going to race it on the day , just try to get in some hot laps to see how well i go . Had a look at wakefield , seems to be plenty of run off so im not too worried about running over curves
