Geelong Speed Trials November 15 & 16 2003
Has anyone ever been to this event?
Is it just a glorified drag run for vintage cars or is it something else?

I have never been, but friends have gone to it and particioated.
I gather that its a glorified drag run with a kink in it. Glorious old cars (depends on your definition of old) and drivers have a thrash in usually brilliant weather.
Family/Life partner friendly as well rather than just have them turn up to a cold bleak track and have them become "racing widows" or "racing orphans".
Must get around to going one year.
RIP Bib Stilwell and Lou Molina.
Any S2k/ITR drivers interested in going this year?

I just recieved some info on it.
Saturday is for the moderns, Sunday is for the oldies.
Craig Lowndes, Brock, Bowe etc will be attending.
With Fords 100th anniversary there will be a big Ford prescence - GT40, Pantera, etc.
I left the info at home. I'll post more tommorow.
