You tale on waiting at a driving range brings back memories of when I spent three months in Osaka a number of years ago. The driving ranges over there are open to all hours of the night so you would think you could turn up at say 11.00pm and get a spot, right?
Uh, no. It is always packed. The amazing thing is half of those poor bastards are unlikely to see a golf course more often than once every five years but are they keen! Bloody expensive though. If I remember correctly, it was about fifteen bucks for a bucket and that was years ago.
I get out every weekend (weather permitting!!). In fact, I have a plane to Cairns this afternoon and will be on the new Links course at Port Douglas tomorrow
