PS. I got the 2.8l Turbo Diesel ... 380Nm from memory and 10l/100kms economy. Sounds good to me

Iggy,
My father has the PRB agency for NSW. He has 2 PRB clubman he rents for track days, sprints, or races. It could be something to consider if you need to get your jollies on the race track.
The car I was renting this year would get around Eastern Creek in 1:43's and Wakefield 1:05's. Not bad for a completely stock Toyota 20 valve.
Look at the contact info in www.prbaustralia.com.au for more details.

I might be interested in a drive in a Clubman too. What sort of money are we talking about for a day at EC? Maybe Iggy and I could go halves.
Also, are there any license requirements (other than Drivers License) for this rental?

Why is everybody so down on the Audi TT?
I have never owned a TT but have had a couple of Audis and they were fine vehicles
I did rent a TT in Germany a couple of years ago. It was only the base FWD but it would cruise all day at 200kph+. The handling was fine and it was altogether a fun machine.
I suspect some a$$hole motoring journalist labelled it a "hairdressers car" and the herd just follows along.
