why didnt u look at the lexus rx330, it is much better value than the jeep, besides the diesel thing, its a good buy.
even the mdx was another option

a friends father got the lexus, it was about 85k on road, how much is a jeep grand cherokee nowaday, sorry i now realise u got the plain jane cherokee, my bad, they go for about 40-50k right??
my brother sold his 99 grand cherokee ltd for 38k, so u could have looked at that option

I got the Cherokee Limited, with full leather, electric seats, cruise, etc. quite a lot of options (yes including a tow pack ;) ) for 51000 on road. That's about 9500 off retail price, so I am fairly happy with that. Also since i am buying it for business use into my company, GST claimback will help too :)
