I remember there was a Melbourne owner that had a JDM S with the navigation unit. I would be greatful for any pictures taken fromt he centre of the car or from behind. I'd also like to know the distance in MM from the instrument cluster.

That's me but I'm in China right now and I won't be back 'til 21st of May.
Let me know if you still need my help.

Thanks Boyzen. If I haven't done it by then I might fly down and do some measurements.

I've just been making a fibreglassing impression of the bezels face. This will allow me to find where it's contours fit on the dash before I take to it with a saw.

I covered the bezel in gladwrap and then use stickytape to hold it tight and line the areas I am fibreglassing. I then mixed up some resin, laid some around the edges, dropped some fibrematte on it and then more resin.

Here it is in finished form:

And here it is placed on the dash:

It's pretty accurate, but before I get out the saw I would be appreciative if someone with a JDM Nav system could measure the distance between the blue lines. This will allow me to confirm horizontal placement. Vertical is not a problem as the top lines up with the subtle crease in the dash and the bottom wraps under the overhang.
