Default Lost your S?

I talked to a mate from Melbourne and his friend 'A' supposedly got his car flogged a couple of weeks ago.

What happened was this:
'A' has a S with lots of aftermarket gear on it, expensive rims, aftermarket bonnet etc etc. Well he was driving home late one night and he got a flat on one of his tyres and just coincidentially he had broke down in front of a JAX tyre place. So obviously he did a smart thing and rolled his car over into the JAX and left it out the front. It was closed so the plan was to come back the next morning when it was open and get it fixed---- easy! Perfect!

So he got a lift home and the next morning he rocks up to JAX and no car there...noone from JAX had seen it either.

A few days later the cops somehow found the car-- it was in some guys house next to another stolen S2000. The plan was to strip both cars and mix em all together so noone would know. His car was stripped a little bit- taken the bonnet off and the kit etc..... and all the parts were lying around the hosue.

hmmm interesting story huh, so 'A' is still fighting it in court at the moment. What they did was suppedly just picked up the car and plonked it on the back of a truck and drove away with it.....

Just wondering is it anyone on this forum??? Or anyone knows the guy?

he's lucky he got his car back .

why didnt he just use the spare ?
Plus , if he's got aftermarket rims , with such low profile tyres you can struggle home if its just a flat .

If it were in Syd , the car will be in a container on the way to somewhere in the middle east . Or stripped and and re-birthed .

Good thing those guys doing it got caught . I'll sure they'll enjoy the anal in prison .

You are kidding right Vuey? You drive on a flat tyre and you'll probably destroy a savable tyre and possibly screw up and expensive rim.

Any chance you could just stick advising on rice-boy fashion from now on?

We'll a few months back my cousin was complaining to me his car wasnt "handling right" . I jumped in to his car drove it and it was pulling to the left . Jumped out checked the tyres and the left rear had a nail in it and pushing it with my hand i could feel it was flat . As it was a 40 series tyre , he couldnt tell it was flat visually . Took it to a tyre place pulled the nail out got it patched up and it was fine with no damage to the rim , i asked him how long he had it like that for ? he said a week ! so go figure that one out ?

obviously with a full flat tyre ( with no air in it at all ) you cannot keep going as it will damage the rim .
