Hey im in need of a ap1 diff since mine just sh#t itself, ive asked around and there selling up to $2500 and low as $1700 in the melbourne area
anyone know how much it cost new or where to get them cheaper?

i've got a complete diff here with 4.44 gears inside

the diff had done about 45000km with the stock gearset b4 being change to a 4.44. with the 4.44 gearset its done about 15000km

Did you do burnouts or drags in the s2k mk84?

nah mayb 3 times since i got the car and that was over a year ago now...thats why it was weird when the the diff failed, I was cruising at about 50kph then i heard the knocking

I purchased an MX5 1.8L crownwheel and pinion for under $800. Fits with no modifications. Assumes that your casing and LSD are still intact.
