Are the mufflers off the stock system?
Welding them on is nothing special.
If I lived in Vic and had a MIG welder I'd do it for nothing.
Any shop can weld on mufflers. $100 I reckon at the most.
Goodluck

Any exhaust shop in your area should be able to weld them on. They shouldnt have any problem welding 2 mufflers, otherwise the shop shouldn't be in business.
I used to be a boilermaker apprentice, even then I was Welding up jigs that held over 5 Ton
Funny thing, 6 months back I was going to run w/o mufflers until I heard about the EPA fines.

All the shops I have called refuse to give me a quote over the phone, not even a ballpark figure. The one shop who quoted me $120 had appalling customer service and called my car stupid.

Yeah well forget them, they're obviously clueless.
Most places don't quote over the phone, which is pretty dumb considering there is next to no preparation needed to weld them on. It will be a pain having to go to workshops to get the quote, but possibly call a few places and see how they are over the phone.
Havent ever done this but possibly take photo's under the car and of the mufflers and email them? That's if you can't risk driving to them. Then they get an idea of what needs to be done and if they will touch it.
Not much else I can think of to be honest but it'l work out for you.

I've used Bay Road Exhaust in a few times for mufflers. Once was excellent, had an X-Force put on my old Prelude cheap, the other time i had a muffler removed and replaced with a stock one before i sold my car and the weld was shit and i had to take it back to be welded again.
