Default Collectabillity and mods.

I would pick a s2000 any day over an ep3.
But why is an ep3 fastest then s2000 in a straight line. The s2k has more kws per tonne. My friend whose a Honda specialist claims it is because the gear ratios of s2000 and says I should build the gearbox when I get one, allowing the car to be allot better .... Is this true??? And I saw a ap1 loose to ep3 numerous times and trust me it wasn't the driver, because we got them to swap cars and the ep3 still won.

Would modifying the car ruin it's collectibility, especially that I will most likely buying a Ap2 which are very rare item.

What other mods are worth doing to an s2k without ruining it's collectibility.

to give the car better acceleration you change the diff ratios not the gearbox from 4.1(stock ratios) to either 4.44,4.56,4.57,4.77 obviously the higher you go the more top end you lose

Online forum posts will give you all the info on how to "improve" the capabilities of "form" & "function". Would you buy a heavily modified S2000 is the question you should ask yourself. It's your car you personalise it how you want.

Agree with TAK... if your wanting a fast straight line car then the S is the wrong car for you.

I would rather an s2000 for cornering anyday. I was just in shock that it beat it cause more power. And I don't want an ep3 front wheel drive

I agree but to me it didn't seen possible for it to beat it in a straight even. Like I would drive an s2000 anyday over it. But power to weight ratio s2k significantly ahead

Get your mate to launch properly next time and you should see him pull a few lengths on the ep3
