Yeah, the eyelids. Not sure what those blue lenses are all about, the lights are not blue when they are on!

kind of like the honda odyssey, the have a blue tinge to them as well

It is to take the yellow out of the light. Makes the beam more white.

Kinda makes sense, except the blue lenses are the parking/side lights. So apart from looking like an unmarked police car during the day, I am really not sure what the purpose of that is.

looks alot better with the eye lids

just need some 20in chromes like this bloke to really bring home the bacon .

Hmm, perhaps not Vuey!! That little rubber under a raised arch just does not look right to me.

Although it has just been discovered that the Murano 18" wheels fit perfectly on the X-Trail and they look really good, available in chrome too if you get them from the US.
