I was a guest at most of the events.
Not the 3 events listed as I was there. I was the only S2000 there.
Some of you may be familiar with these cars, one is still owned by Robert Lane Honda.
Yes, I know that car ... when David Wood was still competing in the GTP with it, he took me for a spin at Witnon. Though, this was with slicks and not 'just' R-spec RE540s (ie. worth another couple secs per lap). David Wood was lapping in 1:37s that day ... but this car was a race-car, and far from a road-car ... was not even road-legal.
Also, I am not aware of any Integra that could come anywhere close to 1:31 at Winton ... the APCC Intergas do very low 1:40s.
So, can you post the references to the times you're mentioning? All the club-sprints results are posted on-line so can you dig up the times you're quoting, and post a link to them. Though, as I mentioned before, I was at some of those events, and I was the only S2000 there. Wintout that, I can't update the HOF without proof/reference ... in particluar for times that are this far out of ordinary.

I am not familiar with you DavidM, do you know me or did you just ask for a ride at Winton? I could email Susan Jensen, x-WRX club motorsport director and request references.

No, I don't think I know you, but I was at most of the WRX-club sprints that you mentioned. I was the only S2000 there ... all the people there has their laps timed and posted on the WRX-site. I posted a link to those events and there was no car (let alone S2000) posting those times.
Or are you saying that you're David Wood?
I could email Susan Jensen, x-WRX club motorsport director and request references.
Yeah, I know Suzan ... not sure if she can help you as all the times/results are already posted, but if she has something, then sure - pointme to it. Why would you not be listed in the results, and how would it be that I did not see another S2000 there? ... at all but one of those events I was the only S2000 there.
ps. Though, more info would be appreciated as I'd like to verify times that quick.

Now that the results have been released, I'm placing my 1:28.9 from Sandown (on the 19/09/04) in here. It's not in an S2000, but in my 350Z with R-spec rubber. There's more info/details in this thread:

Awesome ... that's really moving. Sounds like you're getting more and more used to the car and cutting the times down. Sounds like you got Aircon worried ;-)
Looking forward to Winton with HSCC in November.
Likewise. Can I 'reserve' a seat and be taken for a spin in one of the sessions at Winton?
