1:40.42 New PB at winton for street tyres for me today

Hi Vyets, HOF updated but I would not call those street tyres. Hankook sais that RS-3 use "Hankook Racing Carbonblack Silica Compound" which "secure dry grip at level of semislick hard compound" ... which is what R-spec tyres like RE55s use.

There's probably a bit of sales-talk in the Hankook description to attract buyers. The RS3s are nowhere near as grippy as the RE55S, but similar say, to Kumho KU36, Yoko AD08, or Dunlop Z1 SS.

Rs3, ad08, rsr etc are not considered r spec. They are deemed a street tyre in almost any form of Motorsport.

Another new PB for me!

1:35.90 with R spec.

Yea the rs-3's are made of the same stuff, but on proper semi's the ao50 I'm 5 seconds faster with the same setup.
Thebob I've already raised this issue before but we'll let the times do the talking lol
