Rear Window AP1 Perspex
Hi Guys,
This may be the resurrection of an old post but being a new owner/ski member it's worth noting anyway.
My rear perspex was crappy but not a total disaster.....a couple of goes with Meguires Plastx clear polish/cleaner (inside & outside) and I won't bother replacing the perspex......now improved from 50% to 80%. I also glued some thin black carpet like material to the shelf where the hood folds down and now the perspex folds and sits against the carpet rather than the hard plastic where the damage occurred.

I think there is ways to polish the plastic, One time in the wintertime I almost messed up opening my top and it almost cracked in half it's not even a year old and already turning fggy. I'm gonna try the Plastx clear thing , but I'm pretty sure there's ways to polish it by hand. almost like buff it with some type of very light compound material.
