qk2000's got the Tein RS. They are worth every dollar man. I bought the Zeal B6 together with him. Although the B6 is great on the road being alot softer than the tein; i've got to say the tein is fantastic where u REALLY need a good set of suspension.
We both tested it last week at wakefield.... its great stuff compared to the road tuned B6... its very firm and extremely sharp. If it weren't for practicality, i would've returned the B6 for the RS.

Tein RS = very highly recommended

how much for the B6 szooo r?
I've always wanted these but settled on a set of used DMS (to be rebuilt soon) as the DMS are well known for their shocks too. You could have let me know that you were getting these while I was on the last cruise. I could have change my mind

no and no. whacked it on and off we went. Probably performs alot better if we did. i'll need a realignment soon after the track. Steering feels abit out not to mention my brakes.

The Zeal suspension are at F/R 6kg/mm, and Tein at F/R 10kg/mm. They are both full height and damper adjustable. Zeal looks sexier as its chrome with black/blue pearl coloured springs (not that anyone can see it once its installed) The zeal outfit cost me $3200 supply only and i think the teins are abit over 3k. I've heard the fightex suspension is best for the S2000 but its about 5k's if you can even get your hands on them.

The B6 is abit firmer compared to the oem, with minimal rebound. Feels like it holds the road much better especially on bumpier corners. Still get fair amount of body roll though less then oem item. Its all about comfort vs handling. I think B6 is the balance of both. If you're willing to sacrifice comfort for much sharper handling, i believe the Tein RS are the go (unlike my S where my better half takes to work everyday on the not-too-forgiving Hume Hwy.) For those that have the luxury of driving their S only on w/ends or drives... i recommend the Tein.
Having said all that, the times i had on Wakefield in my S compared to QK2000 with tein and about 20kw more, was .... comparable (or better ... but i don't want to hurt his feelings)

Thanks for the write up mate.
Do you know what the oem springs rating are?
How tall are the OEM spring by the way? Do you mind measuring it's length for me?

God Tein is 10kg/mm, my DMS is 11kg/mm.....oh no my kidneys are gonna hurt Austblue.....can I layby your kidney

On the GPW thread TODA_AU mentioned that the fightex is more like $7k and are set at 16kg I think.

BTW What have you done for the 20kw?

it is very hard to gain power from such a good engine as f20c. force induction probably best value for money, but i'm trying to keep honda's intention to keep the car n.a so i fitted a pair of toda cams and vale springs, toda tune ecu to work with the new cams profile, fujitsubo headers and apexi n1 exhaust.
