Default Sick of the sh*t with buying stuff overseas

So i order my new front lip from Bayson R Motorsports as ive herd really good reviews on fitment, 5 weeks later nothing has arrived and i email them to find out whats happened, after waiting again, they inform me that the post office informed them, for an unrecorded reason the parcel was sent back to the warehouse VIA SURFACE MAIL!!! Bayson R said they're happy to send it out again once it arrives, IN 3 MONTHS TIME...
The worst thing is this isn't even the first, im still waiting on an NRG quick release which i bought from the USA, which was a damaged product (not in transit) had to send it back and 2 months later im still waiting..

I'm just over buying stuff from overseas, is this kinda stuff common with others or have i just hit some bad luck?

*end rant lol

Sounds like bad luck man, especially if others have had OK experiences with the same sellers before. Stuff like getting lost in the mail and stuff is unfortunately out of their control damaged on arrival is unacceptable though, hopefully you get a full refund in the end.

You pay for what you get, whether it is reputable fitment or not on the internet.

+1 for environmental factors such as shipping from courier out of sellers control, however customer service and communication is key.

Have you tried sourcing locally..?

I've had very few issues with purchasing from the states. If an item is well packaged and correctly address why should there be a problem?

That said, I've never dealt with Bayson. If they are legit this might be a rare freak occurrence. If they are not, well...

Pay for the replacement and get the refund once the original makes it way back to them.
