S2000 Diff crown ring and pinion swap alternatives
Hi All,
My first time on the forum so a BIG "Hello."
My recently purchased 1999 AP1 has a worn Diff. crown ring & pinion. It has a 4.4 ratio with an additional Carbonetic LSD.
I have read that the early Kia Sportage (up to 1999 I think) has the 4.7ish diff components in the front diff. That is great but they are not easily available anymore!
Do the diff internals from a newer Sportage fit as well? Im ideally after a final drive of 4.7ish as I track the car but to be honest anything will do at present.
Any other suggestions or advice would be much appreciated as I'm coming up against quotes in the 1000s!!
