from a recent experience in our court system, directly related to 'speed' issues. What I was told by the magistrate was if I wanted to contest the correctness of the radar instrument I would of had to bring an expert in that field. Which would of cost an arm and a leg. The only other angle you could take was to question the integrity of the issuing officer, something that certainly wasn't going to go down well.

Given the TAC is a company and like any/most other companies - they are out to make a profit. In the most 'synical' of thought processes - I think that it is in the TAC's own vested interest, to have less road trauma/deaths; as it simply means less $$$ flowing out of their bank account!?
