This is what I have been waiting for.

Interesting. That's the first Android one I've seen. I still wouldn't trade my Windows system in mine for Droid but some people really like the Droid interface. Really amazes me the telematics industry has progressed as slow as it has over the last decade. When I designed my first In-Car PC over a decade ago I figured it would be a matter of only a few years before most had them... yet still they are quite rare to see implemented and the ones that are (like the few that some auto manufacturers are putting with new cars) are really nothing more then a GPS system with a media player built in. Which doesn't even begin to tap into the possibilities of having a PC in your car. Maybe with this new line of Droid models the market for it will pick up. Any idea what the price point will be for this device? I didn't see any prices.

That's awesome. I've been looking for something like this for the past month. All I've been able to find are ones around $400 that use Windows CE 6.0. I really don't like CE 6.0.
I wonder what the price will be...

If you want to do more then just GPS and Media Player though I'd get one of the stand alone units with a 7" touchscreen on the dash. I've hooked Sirrus up to mine, have it recording 3 camera's at once, FM/AM radio, Internet Browser, DVD Player and reading OBD II info from the S2000. I like that they are coming out with easy to use models like the one posted at the start of this thread as it does most of what people will want. I just went a little crazy with adding things to mine through the years.
