Winton Track Day November 26th
Here we go again at Winton Nov 26th. I will have my red Ferrari 355 challenge there on the day and maybe another CH as well. Who else is going and what are you driving.

I think it's still around $90 for a CAMS Level 2S licence (not too sure as I haven't renewed mine). Plus $50 for HSSCV membership, plus the $140-150 or so for the track day. I'm not too sure on the updated requirements for the Honda track days but you used to need a bonnet strap ($15), metal valve caps ($10) and fire extinguisher with bracket ($40-50). They split up the groups between Beginner/ Intermediate/ Advanced. From the past it's not timed, and there are passenger sessions where you can take someone else in your car which cost $10 per passenger from memory.

Slow down guys! We haven't even got the paper work from Winton for the hire yet...
Blackie's way out of date on vehicle requirements, Cams have long since removed the metal valve cap requirement and they removed the bonnet strap requirement for road reg cars 2 years ago. And since the event will be run under a AASA permit anyway, we don't even require the fire extinguishers.
The requirements are: membership of any bona fide club (HSCCV is $50 expect for blah blah - see the website)
Helmet with at least an AS 1698 sitcker (from about $60???)
Entry will probably be $150
Other requirements: drivers and passengers in addition to the helmet must
also wear non flammable cothing (i.e. non-synthetic) covering wrist to neck to ankle. We might also clamp down on turquoise driving suits.
Cars will be scrutineered for basic safety - nothing loose in the cabin or about to fall off.
Suggest you notify your interest to eventsec@hsccv.org.au as I'm not sure how much I'll be involved in this one.

I'll be there.
Bought a second set of rims to put some R-spec rubber on. Never driven on semi slicks before.
I've been to the last three HSCCV track days and they're well organised and quite good value for $/track time.
