Nico has been penalized and that has moved Max to the second step on the podium.

Reminds me of the "new" qualifying format. Seems like they create rules/regs without completely thinking them through.
Anyway, the latest is that Nicos' penalty is being appealed.
Gotta love Max, I think we'll be watching him win for many years. If Red Bull gets a motor, I think Ricciardo will have to leave or get "Webbered".
Do you think Lewis and Nico will be sharing a glass of wine before dinner tonight?

Stupid to install an unenforceable and inadequately defined rule on "communication" and defining it after a race by affecting the outcome.
Reminds me of the "new" qualifying format. Seems like they create rules/regs without completely thinking them through.

Looks like Mercedes dropped the appeal.
The footage in the winners room where the podium guys get a water, take off their helmet, etc. was just so awkward. LH barely acknowledged NR. Kinda funny when Max said, "I was catching you" and LH responded, "No you weren't". LOL.
Great race, kind of wonder what may have been possible if Ricciardo pitted towards the end for some softs and told to push.

As power unit penalties come into play I am thinking that will put Lewis in the clutches of Max. Then we'll all get to see the battle play out. I think they are equally talented and it will make for a great spectacle.

Thought I'd share this article on who fought harder for victory at the British Grand Prix between Nigel Mansell and Lewis Hamilton. Lewis just equaled Nige's record of 4 British GP victories
