It's a home race for Lewis. I'm fairly confident he will win here.

I agree.

On the eve of the British GP comes news that the BRDC is invoking the break clause which means there will be no race at Silverstone. I hope a solution is found. No street race can replace this track

Bottas to get a grid penalty for changing his gearbox - Lewis Hamilton second in British GP practice behind Valtteri Bottas - BBC Sport

I still think this is Lewis' race to lose. I think his pace was deceptive in practice given that his times were on the harder compounds, and come qualifying tomorrow I expect he will be on pole.

Voted Vettel.

WAG- HAAS and McLaren will get points, and there will be rain.

What a terrific qualifying session that was. Alonso setting the fastest time in Q1 made my day. What a great effort.

Stoffel Vandoorne will start 8th courtesy of the gearbox penalty for Bottas. I'm just hoping for a double points finish for the McLaren boys.

i hope Vandoorne will score his first points of the season today! if it rains i hope for a double points finish with Alonso charging from the back of the grid :smoking:

What a crazy finish for the Ferraris.

Congratulations to Lewis. It must be so special to win in front of the home crowd and to win 4 consecutively and level with Jim Clark makes it even more extraordinary. He deserves a tip of the hat for bringing along young Billy Monger to the race as his guest and for so graciously acknowledging the fans and young Billy.
Bottas seems to have hit his stride and I think he will challenge for the title as the season progresses. Good to see Kimi on the podium and I think Jenson did a top notch job as the interviewer. Me thinks he is much better than DC and they keep bringing him back to do interviews.

Only one point separates Vettel from Lewis now and I can't help but wonder which of them will come back out on top in 2 weeks time in Hungary. If what happened today was Vettel's poor run of luck, then I think it is way better than a DNF. Looking forward to the high speed autocross that is the Hungarian Grand Prix.
