IMSA screwed up the no call on Ricky Taylor's banzai move in to the side of the Mustang Sample car. Congrats to Mike Shank Racing, HPD and Honda on the fifth in class place.

Taylor's banzi was canceled out by the Action Express Team blocking him with their lap down car on the earlier restart. That was bull shit. He snatched back a victory that he should have had anyway. Lucky he didnt have a tire go down when they touched in turn 2 after the final pit stops.
I really thought an RSR would win.
Christina Nielsen walked past me in the pits angry as ****. Anyone tell me why her car didnt finish?

On the Ricky Taylor move, it looked like the other guy left the inside line open, then didn't check his mirrors. Although a balsy move, if the other guy didn't move over and took the outside, there wouldn't of been an accident. One of those situations where both parties are at fault but how do you officiate that?

Bottom line is the lead car has the right of way but the lead car cannot move to block. The cadilac didnt take a reactive move so taylor was at fault but i support the desision since action express got away with one earlier. Had there been no blocking tactics 30 min earlier i would have liked to see the black flag for taylor. For a driver to give up the right of way to prevent contact is huge awarness followed by split second decision making. Early in the race this is a great tactic but late in the race with a slower car you have to keep the door shut and get ready to be hit.

Jacob's pics are in. Click left for Daytona 2017. For some reason if you click right it goes to Sebring 2016.
My favorite
Or this one cause you can see the air flow over the car in the filth
