The sound is back but the look with that halo is not pretty.

Why not just have an enclosed cockpit and be done with it?

Red Bull or Ferrari tried that last season with a plexiglass canopy that was open at the top for ingress and egress. Driver’s complained about view distortion. So they went with the halo as it doesn’t impact view perception and provides protection.
