**** yeah, that was a fantastic lap by Max to claim pole in Suzuka. Obviously going with Max because I want a Honda to win its home race.

Like Lewis he’s got the mindset to win consecutive championships and is a generational talent. The others may be good enough for one or two, but man can he drive - even with a car that isn’t the fastest.

Stellar race by Max to take the win and great tribute to Honda as the partnership ends. I wonder how much better Yuki would have done had they managed his qualifying better. Good race from the McLaren too. I cannot remember when we last had a race where all the cars finished.

I think there were several strats teams were using assuming there'd be at least one safety car. . .
. . . or a red flag from grass catching on fire, again.
