Last year's Long Beach GP. Scroll to The big Toyota Bridge across the track (which is in the center of the pic). I'm in the grandstand to the immediate right of the bridge, top row, in the middle. I'm wearing a red USC cap and a Green and white Bruno Junqueira T shirt.

The big tent with all the tables and umbrellas in front is the bar. I'm having a couple of Bloody Marys at 7 AM on Friday to start things off. Then we're going to walk across the Toyota Bridge to the vendor area, which is huge, and buy hats, T shirts, and pins. Then a nice breakfast of bratwurst, german potato salad, sauer kraut, and beer. Then the Expo at the Convention Center and Sports Arena. Friday is the best day. There is no crowd, you can sit anywhere, and it's fun to just walk around. I can't wait!

The ALMS race is only 1hr 40 mins though - it's almost not worth it.

The European LMS season starts at Monza this weekend, all the races are 6hrs long

Yeah, look for the checkered flag just above the center of the grandstand. My wife and I are to the immediate left of that in the top row.

I screwed it up. My wife is wearing a green shirt and a green hat and I am to her left, wearing a red shirt and a blue hat. Sorry about that.

 

the pictures of the start of the race is not even the 2007 season. those are old champ cars not the new ones.
