Default F1 moving to ESPN next season onwards

F1 broadcast moving to ESPN starting next season with a select few races on ABC. I hope this is a good thing.

Let's hope ESPN doesn't hire NASCAR types as broadcasters for these races.

They’d be wise to retain the current crew plus Bob Varsha. I’m open to others too provided they bring knowledge and proper credibility to the table.

This is good. NBC has too many ads.

I guess I really don’t care what network F1 is on. I thought NBCSN did a good job bringing us the races live (not time delayed) along with practice and qualifying. I read that some of the races will be on ABC. Maybe USGP, Canada, Mexico and Monaco. The problem I have with that is the local ABC affiliate (WKBW-Buffalo) many time airs misc show in place of Motorsports. I’ve missed many indycar races thanks to WKBW.I agree with A2, I would love to see Bob Varsha return. I’m not a fan of David Hobbs at all.

Agree 100%. Really don't want new commentators. Hobbs is the only one I could live without, they need to keep the others.
