Default Ferrari F1 will get darker red start at Monaco

I like the current red better. I hope it's just for Monaco. http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns19175.html

I think I'll like it. I always thought Ferrari red had too much orange in it...especially in person. It wasn't nearly as obvious in video.

The new one is almost like a metallic maroon, not a fan of it. I think this shot is a bit pronounced but it's pretty close.

Here is the whole car:

Yeah, I've heard that, which is what I alluded to in my post. I'll be interested to see what the darker red turns out like...

I like it. If it looks anywhere close to the colors they used in the past, its fine with me.

Standard Ferrari F1 color for a while now is a color called Rosso Scuderia. It's more orange than traditional Ferrari reds (e.g., Rosso Corso that you see on a lot of road-going F-cars) so that it has more pop on TV. I saw an Enzo in Rosso Scuderia at a Palm Beach Concourse a few years ago. Paled in comparison to the Rosso Corso parked right next to it, but gets an "A" for rarity.

I like to darker shade, ala the days of Gilles...

I was playing GT HD last night driving the 599 GTB and notice the new F1 car is more like the Rosso Monza with anodize red. If it was the Rosso Corso which is just darker I wouldn't mind but not a fan of the metallic anodize on Ferrari.
