Works well for us college-aged fans! I'm sure I'll be up and watching it live if I can find someone with Speed (RIT doesn't include it!!)

One thing I've always wondered... F1 is at the forefront of technology, yet... no one does race coverage in HD?

At least I dont have to get up at 4:30 AM to watch this one.

i'm looking forward to it and the Michelin's runners may not have such an advantage to the Bridgestone runners if it really heats up in Sepang..

I'm more afraid of being out sat night til 2-3am or later. Worse would be "sleeping" with a girl, then i won't get to watch it all.

The problem is not F1, the problem is SPEED.

I watched Bahrain in Toronto on TSN in HD, and mind you it was in surround sound and projected onto a wall about 10 feet wide...

And some of you guys wonder why I drive 450 miles in a weekend just to watch F1.

TSN doesn't provide F1 in HD, though (it's on their HD channel, but not actually in HD). I never watch speed, the "play-by-play" is terrible. I much prefer the coverage on TSN... I just wish they'd offer it in 16:9 and 780p or 1080i.

F1 isnt in HD because the local stations broadcast it. Not ever country is running in HD, and then you have PAL to NTSC conversions and what not. Basically, we get screwed because rather than F1 owning all the broadcast equiptment, they sell it to a local station
